How authentication works
Authentication is the whole game. One fake that slips through damages the entire marketplace, so nothing gets listed until it has physically passed through our intake process. This is what lets buyers purchase sight-unseen with confidence.
Physical inspection
Trained specialists examine the object in person under controlled lighting and magnification.
Reference matching
We cross-check serials, hallmarks, date codes, and materials against authoritative reference databases.
Condition grading
Each item gets an independent, consistent condition grade so buyers know exactly what they're getting.
Official photography
We shoot standardized, high-detail photos so the listing reflects the real object — not a stock image.
Tamper-evident vaulting
Authenticated items are sealed and stored under continuous chain-of-custody logging.
What if something is fake?
If an item doesn't pass authentication, it never gets listed — it's returned to the sender with our findings. Every authenticated item carries a full report and a unique asset ID you can review on its detail page before you ever buy.
